dust, dander, and pet hair can rest on computer components inside
the computer. It can act as an insulator which
increases heat- and heat can cause computer electronic components to fail and/or be seriously damaged. Then, too, the increased heat will set off temperature
sensor controls on the motherboard which will reduce the speed of your microprocessor. This will ultimately cause deterioration in performance because the
temperature sensor will slow down the microprocessor so that it does
not fail or burn out, etc. In any event, it's a good idea to
get your computer cleaned at least once per year. |
